Mathews chicken died last weekend. It was a sad thing that happened. Lucky for us the 'Chicken Lady' down at Wilco had a grey that was close in age to the one we had. A Blue Lace. She is a little different, but gray, so Mathew is happy. We will call her gray sister.
I have enjoyed these chickens more than I thought I would. They have their own individual personality's, and are funny to watch. Its fun to let them out and have them follow you around the yard. I am not liking how much they poop. Its A LOT!!! We are also rethinking the chicken coop, and are going to pick a spot that will be permanent.
