Utah...

When I was a girl, my cousin Heather and I would often go to the cemetery to read the old names on the tombstones, the dates, be sad about all the babes that had died, and wonder about the the man who was buried with his many wives. We also went there to eat our candy in peace away from my Grandma. Now whenever I come here I go to the cemetery and walk around.  I don't know why, but it is a peaceful place for me. A memory.

 Sisterly love

I have always liked the old school (built in 1898) that now houses the occasional horses, hay, and farming equipment.

Esther, Terry, Brianna, and Bear before church. Elizabeth would not have her picture taken.

The canal has only recently been drained in the winter. It would freeze and then we would ice skate on it. It is weird to see the canal bottom. You want to walk in it, go under the bridge, check it out. Of course Esther had to follow.

Mack's was 'THE' place to hang out when my mom was in high school, and only a special treat when I was young. The kids working there were not much older than Mathew!
