On our way to Mathews meet today, Esther and I stopped by the river. There is something about walking barefoot in the sand and water that makes you feel good. The warmer weather helps as well.
Mathew was in a good mood, and happy with his meet. He even sat and talked with me for a while. I drove Hwy 14 home even though its windier and longer, it has better views of the Gorge (and I can go at a slower pace). Esther slept, Mathew had his headphones in, so the music was soft and relaxing.
A favorable ending to a good day.
